We going to have to give up our starting lineup to get him. I'm cool :whoa:
If the Bucks are going to honor his requests, there's a chance the Knicks will be negotiating from an advantage. KAT, Mitch/McBride, Dadiet or whoever and picks could make it work. I'd rather not trade OG, but I dont think he's off the table for a generational dominant player. JB, Bridges, and Heart should be the only ones off the table imo.

No pressure hypothetical Knicks trades>>>> :blessed:

Horrible deal for everyone but NY

I'm not gonna go into details as to why is really bad, but from a Knick standpoint, y'all would have to find a sucker to take on Towns in the Apron era with that salary. That more than anything scares owners off. I get the "ayyy let's pair KAT with his only remaining friend in Booker," but they both make supermaxes. Anyone asking Phoenix to throw in picks for something can unkindly GTFOH. If KAT was making $35-$42 mil, then you can plan on breaking him up into smaller parts, but with that salary, it's a headache. Whoever takes on KAT would have to be very comfortable not giving a fukk about the next 3 years and everything that comes with that (ideally this is where you call BK again but they've already raided your stash).

So Giannis and filler for Kat and filler is a no-go for you? I'm perfectly fine with keeping KAT and trading OG and Mitch, probably for that reason, but more so for the spacing the team will still desperately need.

In a straight up deal, OG, Towns and Mcbride and a bunch of picks for Giannis, Turner/Kuzma and Portis (along with some small contract fillers) works money/rule wise I think. I can't think of any other realistic deals tbh. My worry is that teams REALLY don't value KAT like that. Dude sucks on defense, but he's still a good player. I feel like Towns faults gets overblown by the fans sometimes (I'm guilty of that too being real).

Please Keep Kuzma & Lego man far the f*ck away from this team. Portis would be a upgrade over Yasubele though

For the Knicks, sure, but that trade is asking the Bucks to do a 3 year bid out of love for Giannis

It's 2 things that scare people away from Towns

1. The supermax he's on.

2. He's one of the most hated players in the league and that leaks over to the media and they get on their bullhorn and yell "SOFT ASS bytch" and that reverberates.

The only serious flaw about this is how will KAT and the fans react to all of this. I can see the NY media really start to push KAT into some very tough questions he’s not mentally prepared for.

We just saw it last game that KAT can be mentally tapped out of a game and fast. I really hope this doesn’t get to him.
