I kind of agree, if this social score thing in China only pertains to breaking the law and your not involved in violent crimes than maybe an alternative like this isn't so bad. As long as you can raise your score over time with good behavior and steady employment it's better than prison.

the average Chinese citizen is broken spirited from generations of oppressive regimes. it's not like the brehs in Hong Kong or Taiwan. They don't have much fight in them... they fall in line.
We already have this type of shyt here with linked in and employers looking at social media profiles.. don't fool yourself.
