I understand why Lamont stayed at 130 for so long even though he may have outgrown the division. It's gonna be hard for him to win a fight at 135 or 140 :francis:
I think he fits in perfectly as a lightweight but 140 will be a mfr for him to deal with esp will some of the cats there who are punching punching. As it remains only Jamel Herring found a way to cleanly beat him widely.

It’s his fault that he lost. Trying to entertain niqqas with standing toe to toe TOO long. Box and puck and choose when to exchange. The 11th and part of the 12th rounds is what really did it, he was cruising easily, but decided to make it seem what it really wasn’t, that Cruz was in the fight.

:what: he didn't lose

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.

He did lose the fight, because he was winning and decided to do the unnecessary in the final 2 rounds. He let the fight get away from him. He forgot that he’s in Mexican territory and Cruz will get favoritism (as he did) so he needed to keep his foot on his neck, but he let up.

So yes, he lost the fight by getting a draw.

Hitchins got a robbery w against lemos and beat two trash nz yall I overhyping him lol . Mont def can win that

The Lemos fight was more of Hitchins having a bad weight cut because he's a 147 pounder shrinking down to 140. Same with GAR. Another reason why I don't want Lamont at 140. There's going to be a clear size and power difference for Lamont at 140. You can laugh at Liam Paro all you want. He's the only dude who completely outclass Matias

But yeah, since you want that fight to happen, make sure you @ Lamont on twitter then

So happy for O'Shaquie man :blessed::salute:

I know this was a PBC broadcast, but the amount of disrespect he got in this whole buildup and on fight night was crazy. Knew Shaq would get it done. Then for Fulton to come out 2 pounds heavier. I personally don't see Fulton winning any significant fight in his career ever again

I was gettint pissed for Shaq the way he was getting treated.

Wonder if WBC gives Shu Shu Fulton now for the 126 belt

Just finished watching Foster/Fulton.

Fulton didn't do much of anything and that was definitely part of the problem. But I think the biggest problem was, from the beginning, Fulton could never find his range. From the opening round, it seemed like everything he threw was from far away. And it didn't help that he was moving like he was stuck in mud.

With all that said, I'm not a fan of Foster. He's nothing special. He does nothing that stands out to me. But he knows how to get the job done.

I was watching the Spence interview and how he was talking about enjoying family and traveling the world and he'll come back when he's ready. It's amazing how one loss can fukk up a fighter's game.

This nikka Foster has 3 losses. One of those losses came really early in his career, but cuh keeps truckin' along and taking fights. Absolute respect for that, especially in this era, where fighters will let one loss alter their entire trajectory.

My thoughts since I was out at D&B watching

Frank Martin put on his best performance in a long ass time. Goes up to 140, shows some new wrinkles in his game, and ices Rances Barthelemy in 4 rounds...Frank may have found his weight class. Rances is not far removed from giving angry fists and jose ramirez serious problems. But I think its time for him to join his brothers in retirement

Ramos and Mosley Jr put on a hell of a fight in the opener. Ramos definitely showed technically he was superior. The way he landed that counter hook over and over again but Mosley was not dissuaded. Moved forward on some margarito shyt and was landing right hands on Ramos at will. Mosley Jr has his father's chin but his defense needs some serious work and he got some slow ass feet. Eventually that chin will crack and it will get super ugly. I also didnt know an interim belt was on the line :smh:. it didnt need it. Ramos is starting to show too much wear and tear for someone with not a lot of fights under his belt. I never seen him get tagged so much. hopefully this forces the title fight with adames. too many more of these fights and he will get legit upset. mosley im sure will continue to grind. big respects to him. He's a top middle

Lara vs Gonzalez is where the ppv took a dive. Lara looked every bit of his 63 years and still had enough to drop dude in the 1st and 12th but shyt in between was struggle and a half. Boo birds were out. The less said about the fight the better. You can see why Hurd retired after losing a split to Gonzalez..Gonzalez is a c level masquerading with a b level record. AARP Lara beat him soundly so yeah.

Foster and Fulton was supposed to be the FOTY candidate. Instead it was the most disappointing fight of the night and it was largely because of Fulton. fulton was on some pure clown shyt. How in the hell do you blow weight moving up a division and you had extra time to make it? he should be stripped of his featherweight title for real. Even more asinine, the WBC sanctioned it for an interim 135 belt. The fight was because Foster boxing up and beating up Fulton who looked complete trash. Foster's performance could have been better if he pressed the gas pedal on his offense. But I can't knock it too much he was professional and did his job like a champion. He wasn't getting a lot of respect in the build up so im glad he kinda shut the mouths of the detractors. Fulton needs to sit down and take a look within himself if he wants to continue to fight or not because im just shocked on how poor he looked. Esp with the amount of shyt he talked. Very unacceptable

Roach vs Cruz was a war man. A fight Roach could and should have made it easy on himself. He fought Cruz like Tank which was a bad strategy because Cruz took it among himself to light up Roach all night. Even scoring a knockdown on him. When Roach boxed, Cruz looked struggle and gassed. When he stayed on the inside with Cruz, he took real punishment. This fight was dirty as fukk too. Cruz getting the point took for the kidney punch, might have cost him the win on the scorecards. Roach also dropped some of the later rounds clear being hard headed which also might have cost him the win. A draw was the most sensible result for this fight so i can't knock it. However Roach broke his hand so he's going to be down for a bit. I also dont think 140 is the division for him. He needs to drop to 135 and operate there for a little bit. Them fans in texas love Pitbull so PBC will find another opponent thats not too high risk for him to get boxed up as usual. At least this fight ended on the PPV on high note.

its a shame janibek poppin dirty and fulton not being on point dragged this ppv down in quality. also stop with these interim belts where its not needed gotdammit

It seems like Bill Haney is the Crawford whisperer when it comes to him taking and making fights. Right now he should be telling Bud to go after Lara.

Lara got the job done like everyone thought he would but that was tough to watch outside of the knockdowns.

Jannibek really fukked this thing up. :snoop:

Watching Fulton talk to SOG earlier this year gave me the feeling that he's not all in anymore. But again, it goes back to my point about Spence and Foster and how one fighter is absolutely resilient, while the other let a loss completely change he he might feel about the game. shyt is sad.
