Federal law stipulates those with a history of mental illness should not be sold firearms.

Therefore, if someone has mental health issues and you know they own firearms you're not doing your civic duty to report them to atf or other law enforcement.

As such, if they do go on a shooting spree and kill a dozen people you should be held accountable.

I drove on the 101 and today and looked to my left and the club was right there.. I saw a shyt load of cops some in hazmat suits and what looked to be a body layed on the ground under a white sheet but I doubt it..i drive thru there everyday and neva noticed it today.. Two days ago this shyt popped off now its about three fires not even a mile from the crib California a muthafukka

Federal law from shipping, transporting, receiving, or possessing any firearm or ammunition. Violation of this Federal

924(a)(2). The terms enumerated below are located in 27 C.F.R. § 478.11.
A person is “adjudicated as a mental defective” if a court, board, commission, or other lawful authority has made
a determination that a person, as a result of marked subnormal intelligence, mental illness, incompetency, condition,
or disease:
™ Is a danger to himself or to others;
™ Lacks the mental capacity to contract or manage his own affairs;
™ Is found insane by a court in a criminal case; or
™ Is found incompetent to stand trial, or not guilty by reason of lack of mental responsibility, pursuant to articles
50a and 72b of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 850a, 876b.
A person is “committed to a mental institution” if that person has been formally committed to a mental institution
by a court, board, commission, or other lawful authority.
The term includes a commitment:
™ To a mental institution involuntarily;
™ For mental defectiveness or mental illness; or
™ For other reasons, such as for drug use.
The term does not include a person in a mental institution for observation or by voluntary admission.

There are also individual state laws.

The problem is the gun lobby makes it difficult to actually enforce the intention of these laws. And it's a space where everyone should be on board with tightening up the law.

I've had to talk two of my homies down from the ledge after they came home. shyt is scary and they get no help while being used as a prop to further the interests of people that would have them go out and murder for their own amusement.

20 veterans kill themselves every day. Every day. This man is clearly warped and a monster, but that's why we need these mental health checks for all veterans so that people like him can be screened out and the rest of society protected from him.

thing is, they do get help.....provided you dont lie and say you're okay. they have access to free help 24/7 plus making appointments with primary care physicians for consults. if you want the help, you can get it......
