Hell, when the punk ass Maga/Neo-Nazi/KKK tried to intimidate us on the outskirts of Philly, Black Men killed that noise immediately and ran them out of town faster than they showed up. And it's all on videos online, during the George Floyd Protests.

I live in Dallas and I’ve spent a lot of time in Houston where similar things have happened (though not as frequently as what I see in Cali) and in most cases it’s not a balanced response.

Longos are the largest Hispanic gang in Long Beach, so expecting pushback from another Mexican gang locally isn’t really expected. If dudes get locked up, the Hispanic shot callers may just make it know they aren’t going to protect them or retaliate against whatever race does them harm. Then it’s a green light for blacks to get on they head.
Street wise, whoever’s area the shooting happened in has a responsibility to retaliate… but the gangs go back and forth regularly for decades. So it will just be business as usual as far as violence. You’d only notice it if the killer is identified and his killing is on the news. A random longo could get killed too… but unless everyone snitching on why he was killed nobody will “know” it’s retaliation for a specific attack.
