There's nothing wrong with Slave movies. You just have to balance it out. You can't say slavery is a part of our history when you never actually show the other parts.
In recent history, there has not been one Hollywood film about a black kingdom. Not one. I've seen alot of movies about the Chinese, Mongols, Aztecs/Mayans, Native Americans, Persians and obviously Europeans but, I can't remember seeing one movie about anything in Africa....you got the Mali Empire, the Ghana Empire, the Songhay Empire
