It is, but just an older model with I think the first generation Sandforce controller on it.

It's a solid buy and have built many computers with it installed.

Oh ok..yea I just wanted to make sure if it was gonna be fast..or a waste of time..I have 2 hdd's right now..I just wanted to make sure it was worth it to add this particular SSD...

yeah I want a 512 for my next Gen build. Very pricey though

SSD's make for very good scratch disks when using photoshop

Might bite for that purpose alone.
