fixed. was typing on my phone.
little too close to the edge for this discussion breh...and frankly I think its largely a bullshyt argument...but thats another discussion.
Nah, its actually an attempt at discussing limitations.
I'm not encouraging things that promote in-stability.
I want to hear both sides![]()
As a guy who kinda has an academic predilection for this particular argument, I'll say that the layman use of it, has been corrupted and frankly overstated. How is it bullshyt though?
You don't think environmental factors, especially systemic ones can't impact the DNA for humans?
Don't mean to be adversarial but how sway?
How does that fix this?No it is not. It's a smart dumb attempt to defend the current Matriarchy running the Black community.
It is a direct push back against Brothas who are calling out the problems caused by women lead households and communities.
"but but increasing two parent households won't end White Supremacy"

You can’t save everyone. Some of us aren’t going to make it.
I think thats overstated, again though.Teaching kids from a young age on how to be a racist.
Reinforcing that belief throughout their formative years
Them living out that racist contract throughout their life span will eventually be embedded in their genetic code.
It's already proven that experiences eventually become hardwired in DNA.
I would save enslavement, systemic racism had the same affect on the black race.
But I don't want to touch that subject all the way

a good counter pointI think thats overstated, again though.
See, the last 200 years has seen black people not really be held back by their own intellectual creativity or desires. ...its literal force and legal statute held over them. it wasn't some literal handicap.
Its always used as a way to deflect away from overt racism...
yall dont think that argument is a cop out, even a little bit?I can see where you're coming from
I remember reading trauma can be passed down to generations so obviously slavery and racism would be a form of trauma too

So we shouldn't strive to have two parent households led by strong Black men?
No one said more stable households will magically fix everything but it will damn sure be a major first step.
We gotta reassess everything post-1968. Full citizenship wasn't a thing before then. The country wasn't truly a "thing" since then.a good counter point
we haven't been able to fully play so who knows what our potential is![]()
