I don't think it's a bad idea in theory, the problem is that these countries already receive financial aid from said European countries

but im not talking about that, im talking about direct financial aid that Caribbean countries receive and are receiving from european countries, aside from imf or world bank loans

why would i need to source it? its well known that european countries give foreign aid to caribbean countries, if you were unaware of this you need to do some research

my point isnt that its payment for slavery my point is that before caribbean countries sue for reparations from european countries they should stop accepting aid from european countries

but that is why i said you have to do your own research, its very complicated to find the exact numbers, im just pointing out that the aid exists

i didnt say they should stop accepting aid, what im saying is that they shouldn't do both accept aid and sue, because by accepting aid it weakens the argument for reparations, the european countries can say that they already give aid
