PS2 hype was too big and EA bailed when Sega didn't kill Visual Concepts and when they didn't go with 3dfx. Visual Concepts used to make Madden back in the day.

Sega dropping out the console biz was the WOAT experience for young me.

Knuckles from Sonic Aventure was awesome. Dude can run like Sonic, glide, dig, punches shyt, climb walls... wished he was the main character instead

Knuckles' levels were ass in Sonic Adventure. Good music, but making him search for fragments of emeralds was a stupid ass decision by the developers.

It was THAT good. I remember PS2 was still a year away and the hype was so big that it kept a lot of people away but the Dreamcast was so cheap, looked so amazing and had so many dope games I bought one on 9.9.99 (along with Final Fantasy 8 for Ps1).......It seriously met the hype. In some ways I think I might have enjoyed it better than Ps2 initially (although having a DVD player was a BIG deal). It's launch games were classics....NFL2k, Soul Calibur, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, Crazy Taxi......It's the perfect example that a system is good because of it's games. W

How about that. Shenmue was the last RPG I ever played. That sh!t was the GOAT RPG in my eyes Shenmue>Final Fantasy VII in 1999
