I would rather pay 1 person $15.00 than 2 people $8.50.

At the end of the day the problem of minimum wage has more to do with supply and demand. Too many people in the workforce market.

The other problem is government regulations, taxes and credit systems that make it hard for people to start businesses.

You'll likely be living check to check in most places. People sometimes just look at 15 an hour just to pay bills. it can certainly do that if you live modest, but savings and emergency needs are supposed to be considered as well.

I would advocate a part time minimum wage for high schoolers and 2nd jobs, and a full time minimum wage for "real" jobs.

I don't need the 10th grader flipping burgers at Mickey D's making $20 an hour because some grown woman can't feed her kids on less.

But at the same time, I don't want grown people busting their butts in a hot ass factory 40+ hours a week making $8 an hour either.
