Why wouldn't you want two big men who can shutdown the paint, guard on the perimeter, shoot, and score effectively in the halfcourt? Giannis can't do all those things. Plus Giannis is an extra $1 than Embiid. It makes more sense to go with AD/Embiid to balance out the cap a bit more evenly.

:dahell:

Dragic is the perfect PG for fit, especially for the price he's at.

Because I want the transition game to be efficient and fast. Giannis is far more versatile than both embiid/davis in switches as well. I really don't think two big men is the way to beat the Warriors, perimeter defense needs to be nearly perfect to keep it close.

Also Dragic would be killed defensively imo.

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
Would you say the games would be blowouts or close?

If close, wouldn't Shaq be a potential liability because of hack-a-shaq?

That's the only reason I didn't choose him.
I think you win comfortably. Shaq absolutely destroys them, and under two minutes left you can't off-ball hack anymore right? I'll just play through my other guys who are all great shooters. Prime Shaq could put up an efficient 45 and 20 on these guys I think for a series. He was putting up 38 and 17 on guys like Dale Davis and Rik Smits while playing at a much slower pace.

T.O.
he'd be the 5th option on my squad...fukk off
and he actually played well in rd 2 :what:
next time quote me nikka

That was you :mjlol:

He had 2 decent scoring games but overall was horrific behind the arc and he isn't someone you'd want to beat the Warriors...

I'm not building a team to beat the Warriors at their own game because that's not going to happen, I'd want the bulk of my offense to be from Davis & Kawhi, with Embiid or Dragic being the 3rd option. Breh, how isn't the perimeter defense not good with Kawhi & KCP -

I love Giannis potential, but he's not ready yet and his jumper is an issue. The team I put together has 4 guys that can create or play off the ball. Also, Dragic wouldn't get killed, he holds his own, he doesn't have the reputation as a terrible defender and I'd put KCP on Curry with Dragic on Klay.

I expected a better lineup coming from one of the best basketball minds in this section.

You're not gonna be able to hide Dragic on Klay for 48 minutes.

How exactly were the Heat able to hide Dragic, considering they held the Warriors to one of their lowest outputs of the year :wtf: Where did the notion come from that he's a terrible defender, he guarded 1-3 this season and Curry shot 38% against the Heat this year.

:martin: Off a two game sample. He shot even worse vs. Philly this year in two games @ 33%. Can't take anything meaningful away from that.

Individual defense is hard to quantify, but DRPM is the best model currently out there. Dragic was 73rd among PG's last year. NBA Real Plus-Minus - National Basketball Association - ESPN

He'd be food vs. Klay.

Dragic is a decent defender, breh.
Considering how few are great defenders at PG, you could do worse.

You're using DRPM from his current team, to project how he'd do with Embiid & Davis behind him, and KCP/Kawhi flanking him? :ld:

You have to take that stat with a grain of salt, KCP is widely considered one of the best defensive SGs in the league, he's 61 in DRPM. There's no way Ron Baker is a better defender than KCP :russ:

Yeah there's a lot of variables it can't account for (It shows Avery Bradley as the 78th SG :heh:), but a lot of the names you find at the top and bottom of the rankings pass the eye test.
