Just tried 12ft Ladder for the NY Times and it says "12ft has been disabled for this site"

Damn, that was what I was most excited for. Always try to read LA Times and NY Times articles and I get hit with that paywall. Oh well, I guess my cheap ass needs to get a subscription some day.

Man, back in 2020 when I was fiending for political articles during the lead up to the election, I figured out a hack by chance that allowed me to get past the NY Times paywall if I specifically used Firefox. I felt like a genius.

By the time mid-January 2021 rolled around, Firefox released a new update and now my trick doesn't work anymore.

Why do ya'll act like these websites are highly confidential government secrets? By the time you know about it hundreds of thousands, if not millions, already know. Nobody shuts them down because nobody cares.
