Glad someone on here FINALLY had the decency enough to ask about us down staters here in Illinois. Unless youre from here, the only reason to come to Illinois is Chicago. Im in Decatur(born and raised), and there isnt much to do down here, BUT it is less than an hr away from the university of illinois and illinois state university

I've never lived in Chicago or even visited, but this problem seems to be getting worse. What are the police and local government in Chicago doing to combat this issue?
