They market hard in the hood and other low income areas, they're falling off now due to the word getting out. I went to one and I regret it alot. I owe 30k and I just pay bit monthly but I will admit ingot scammed.

A lot of them are losing students because the word is getting out but they advertise on TV, radio, even the city bud has a aiu or everest sign on it.

Every hip hop station has a advertising for it, thy really target their students.

I know yall dudes can't relate but I csn relate to this very well.

They losing employees now because they scared they won't have a job.

the federal govt shouldn't be offering subsidized loans to students who attend for profit strip mall colleges. in fact the only students who should qualify for subsidized federal student loans are those that attend public institutions. let the private school and for profit strip mall students get private student loans.

If you or your parents didnt take the time to learn and understand the money and credit system of this country you deserver everything that comes your way. Love hearing people be like "ohhh i was a kid i didnt understand"



FOH. Need to pay attention to the world. You know its setup for you to lose right from the start. No one and i mean no one sat me down and explaing anything about the credit and banking system to me. I learned everything on my own and read and asked a million questions about every single thing. I use to run and look up every single word in the small print in credit agreements and loans that I did not understand. LOL im the youngest of 3 and my parents and family comes to me and ask me about shyt when they are trying to get loans and credit.

I dont feel bad for these people and they deserve what ever they get.

they need to jump on that PAYE. that seems like a reasonable program to me. and if the education you received isn't paying off income wise, your monthly obligations will be pretty much nothing. that's why i believe they shouldn't be offering them loans in the first place because there are going to be a lot of people who recently got their loans who won't have to pay much back because their degrees aren't worth shyt.

I use to be that person to avoid the phone calls and everything, but one day I called them up and they ask about your other bills and you pay so they can determine the right payment plan for you. Basically pay them 90 a month and I get no more calls/mail anymore.

I wish schools talked to kids more in High School about the reality of how much college actually costs, especially for the ones who can't afford it.

I use to be a person to laugh at community college, now I would encourage everyone to go to CC for two years and try to get scholarships for the other two years at a state school.

Great way to do it. In MA, if you do 2 years at a CC and get above a 3.0, they'll take 33% off your state school tuition.
