Back in 1949, China's Communist regime decided that, even though the country is huge, in order to assert more control it all needed to be under the same time zone, Beijing Standard Time. This has led to ridiculous sunrise times such as 10am in certain parts of the country.
One of the most absurd things I've ever read about.
Which means nothing given that their currency is tethered to the dollar and American being the main economy to buy their exports in bulk.

Debt does not matter when every other currency is tethered to your currency and every other nation needs your consumer class to fuel growth.
Lots of things are synthesized. The average person would beif companies had to include and describe each ingredient. It's a tough thing to handle though. Considering that people are consuming more food than ever, the demand has to be met somehow. Maybe people should lay off of the "Big Gulps"and similar products.
I doubt it. I think a lot of people overestimate how much people who eat trash foods care about things like that.
The same dude who's slathering chili and cheese on his 7-Eleven brand nachos (me) could very well be quite informed about what goes into making all of it. And yet ignore it cause them thangs hit the spot.
