I don't want to turn this into a 'China vs. America' thing. I'm not a patriot and could care less about the US. The environmental damage our countries are doing is unspeakable. Then there's the Fukushima disaster in Japan causing mass extinction to marine life in the Pacific Ocean.

Now with the TPP passing corporations can sue any government that tries to protect the environment (if their environmental protection laws conflict with said corporation's profits). At this rate humans won't make it to 2100.

This is all Im saying.

Its just frustrating because I read folks go on and on about China and its pollution but then say nothing about whats going on in their own backyard. We fought tooth and nail to get LA to finally take the pollution serious but then these nutcases in washington want to ignore global warming, offshore drilling and sea dumping. shyt is frustrating. If the U.S took the lead, China would actually follow suite, but since they're not, China is just going to spit back with "yea but what about you?" its all bullshyt.

I'm pretty sure I've shed about 5 years off my life living here. The shyt I see, foul, just foul.

not as bad where I live cause I live on the coast, but inland....nikka...WOW. I went to Jinan last week which is inland for a little field trip, the sky was apocalyptic looking. I aint seen a brand new shiny car in months. apartments all look dusty and/or rusty. in fact most metals have some form of rust on it, they're never shiny.

LA feels like a green city compared to some of the shyt I see here. shyts wild. but you get desensitized and/or try not to think about it. I just tell myself I've built a strong immunity, can survive a fallout because of this shyt. Until it catches up with me at 70

It's a racist ass country with a plethora of problems. With your responses it seems like you're trying to instigate or provoke a "China vs. USA" argument of some sort. If I had the money I'd move out of here.

Living in either China or the United States seems like a poor choice anyway.

this is some real shyt though. everytime I go to Japan or South Korea...as soon as I step off the plane, by sinuses go to shyt. the last few times I've went I got a sinus infection while I was there. one time it was so bad I ended up in the hospital with a 102 fever, shaking with the chills....

I used to laugh at the people wearing masks everywhere when I would go to Asia....now i'm right there with them

I have been there and can attest to the bad water and air pollution. People tell you there don't drink the water and the air is so bad you can't even really see the sun.
