One of the articles a neighbor says he was a quiet kid and competed on a national cooking show. I Google his name, Israel Oxley and Chopped and it came up, he was 9 at the time. Lil nikka got eliminated after the appetizer round

The father didn't mention it, but if they didn't immediately try to find him psychiatric help after this situation they failed as parents. Even the most demonic gang members I've known wouldn't even think about killing their entire family. This is more than just drugs and 'hanging around the wrong crowd'. That kid was deeply disturbed and needed professional help. Unfortunately it's probably too late for that. State will throw the book at him since he's 15.

They just let him move back home again after Thanksgiving with restrictions such as limiting his cell phone and internet use. His father thinks that made his teenager upset and on top of that, he adds his son was hanging out with the wrong crowd.
"These drugs that these kids are getting on is getting on their state of mind, their social media, they’re hanging out with their friends. If there’s an issue, get it addressed right away. I mean, we tried to get it addressed right away, but didn’t seem like we could get the right help," said Oxley
If drugs were in his system then it's probably k2, pcp or pills since this is in the pg county area. I also think the boy felt soke type of insecurity within himself which manifested itself as rebellion.

He probably should've just kicked him out and disowned the child as soon as he threatened to kill him.
He's a Pastor though so he probably thought there was still redemption for the kid.

He should have reported that to the authorities if that had been the case. Plus he had been sent to live with his grandma so I doubt the parent was molesting him if they were the ones who sent him away...and these days even if as a kid you report something to the authorities and they don't believe you then a lot of these kids post their account of the abuse online on their social media which I don't think he did. I do think he was likely mentally disturbed though and he probably needed a long stay at a psychiatric hospital in order to get the correct treatment and/or medications. Extremely sad situation.
