The media narrative was that Jamiel Shaw was a star high school football player with no gang affiliation, killed simply because he had a red Spider-man back pack. His parents said it was racially motivated and said Pedro Espinoza (Jamiel's killer) had a "BK" tattoo meant "Black Killer."
In reality Jamiel Shaw was claiming Blood. His myspace was full of pics of him throwing gang signs, red flags on his face, and messages like "EK" (eighteen killa). When his parents were confronted they made up excuses for most of it. "That hand sign is because he liked Star Trek as a kid." "That hand sign is for Hang Ten."
Pedro Espinoza's cousin even snitched him out and said Pedro singled Jamiel because he was a "Twinkie" (Rolling 20s Blood). So Cal mexican gangs hit up NK, not BK, to refer to Blacks. 18 is warring with Bloods, 20s, and PStones. That's why BK. 18 is like the only Mexican gang in So Cal that has Black members.
Glad the parents of Jamiel are pushing for legislation to deport illegal gang members but Jamiel wasn't killed for no reason at all, and it wasn't because he was Black..
Nope, that's bullshyt and you can't prove it without posting up some generic pics of Africans throwing their hood up. That's that Trayvon Martin bullshyt where they assassinate a black man's character after he's killed. GTFO.
