I don't know what this is reference to but his excellence and his parents great work does NOT mean he hasn't or won't be subject to racism on his journey and in his life.

Unfortunately, soon as he cracks open one of those medical textbooks he may be subject to chapters regarding the pain tolerance of Black ppl being more than others, for example.

Don't ever think that Black ppl excelling DESPITE systemic barriers means they don't exist.
Maybe so, but in large part you gotta be in the club or outside the club to be discriminated against. You'd have a more compelling argument if there were waves and waves of black kids overchachieving, killing it and then they were pulling fukk shyt. The problem has been that we weren't making the grades and being competitive in large numbers. Policies is made on numbers. It takes at least 15% to start a culture shift. We need a tipping point. Unfortunately, this young man is more of an exception than the norm.
