I'm agnostic. They were providing a service to the community and not molesting children that I know of.

I hope people are making comments like this publicly and not just on the internet. That shyt's terrible, it would have benefited a lot of poor seniors. When you're looking for a place for your mom and dad to go when they're old and you don't have the time to be their personal doctor, then maybe you'll be able to relate. But to say that this is something that SHOULD have happened.. makes you no better than people who picket funerals when gay people die. The hate is the same. You can talk revolution all you want, the hate is not going to get you anywhere, trust me.

They are doing a lot of assuming. When the fire first took place, I posted a map in the Gray thread. The senior center was a great ways away from the cvs and the mondo mall that were being looted/rioted.
The riots took place on the west side of town, the senior center was on the east side. and was the only building set on fire?
Not to say its not possible that it was a rioter, but at the same time, it didn't make sense and they had no proof. Even newcasters had to clarify that it was most likely a separate event because it was so far out.

Here is a perspective from an African American Man that is a resident in Baltimore... and a business owner as well:
It wasn't just a church, it was supposed to be used for housing people. 60 old people could have lived there. And the jobs that it would have created to take care of those people (decent paying jobs, but still tough jobs).. those are gone. It's just not a good look. You can have your opinions on the church, that's fine, but this was going to help a lot of people. You know how expensive some of those places can be? This was specifically for low income seniors. Now those seniors have to depend on family to care for them.
