Apparently it does say something about unsportsman like celebrations in the rule book. Saw this on the ig comments

Thats on the girl, but mostly(90%) on her Dad/Coach. Was an idiot to even ok her in doing it. Then she went to the stands to get the fire extinguisher from him? Save all that extra shyt for when you get home. And no idgaf about her paying homage to Green.

Nothing "unsportsmanlike" about it though. She didnt taunt her competition from what people are saying. By this logic Shacarri staring at shorty as she ran past her is unsportsmanlike. And Usain Bolt and Noah Lyles should have zero medals:mjlol:

Its obvious these people dont know their track history. She was paying homage

I got kicked outta school for grafitti in the painting studio. Rules says that any artwork done without approval on state property is considered grafitti and I got expelled.🤷🏿‍♀️ She will be ok. Win it next year and beast out.

Doin too much strikes again. Pops fukked up.

I wouldn't want that medal if I'm the 2nd place person. Would give that shyt to the young brehette and make people really mad.

Def could have found another way to discipline or make the point without stripping her of what she won.

The only way she should be disqualified is if it specifically says something about celebrations in the rule book. If it doesn't and they are just making shyt up then lawsuits need to be involved.
At worst, they should give her a stern warning then create a precedent to punish future showboating. Taking her title away like this is excessive.

I agree, but if that was in the rulebook clear as day beforehand, I'm not going to argue that point for her.

I think its too harsh if she's a first time offender.

Also, between this and shorty bopping another shorty with a baton, track sounds lit.

Don't matter, she won and the things that come with that can't be taken away by some jealous hoe ass officials......they made her a nationwide star at this point.......she on the radar for good.......now she just gotta keep running past the hoes

She did too much but so did the officials.

I get having rules about celebrations to avoid people celebrating in other peoples faces and shyt but this celly didn't hurt anyone and wasn't aimed at anyone.

Should've been a warning and told if she does it again then there'll be consequences.
