What happened to him?

This is an album I never peeped but always heard good things. Gonna listen now

Drugs happened to him. I remember posters on SOHH were going to his shows and saying he was slumped over high as hell, low energy, couldn’t remember lyrics and Exile would just be shaking his head in frustration.

All I'll say is I respect Blu a lot for getting his shyt back together. He still has challenges but to go from where he was to releasing some really good/great music over the last few years has been dope. That last Blu & Exile album was great. I like his last solo album too.

I like Blu though I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan
Still one thing I really respect is he could of easily went the commercial route at one point and instead went more underground, lo-fi, dustier, jazzier etc.

Working with Fat Jack, Damu, Nottz etc. + in general continued to be a student of the game
