Usher confessions came out in 2004. I will get the adele album today and see what the hype is all about.

Video games have been kicking the movie and music industry's ass for a some time now and I hope it continues.

With all the interactive animated movies (so many cut scenes) in video games and virtual reality, modern music and movies will continue to bow down.

the music industry just needs to change it's format to better suit modern times.
India for example most artist produce music only for movie soundtracks and stuff like that.
as you said with video games, maybe instead of releasing an album they should just produce music for these video game soundtracks. that way they reach a bigger audience and get part of the revenue for the game sales or whatever deal they make.
than if a song gets popular do a video and some shows. rake in the dough.
