They thought they were coming up. I was expecting this to be a old truck converted to a newer front end, and sold for new.

Fact is, they were better off taking the truck and chopping it up and selling the parts lol

Texas has a vin lookup with the motor vehicle dept. Rental cars typically are leased vehicles and you would see the company on the look up.

Pretty naive on them to think that was legit.
But I also find it funny that he would only list it for 16k. If he put it slightly below market value the ad would have looked even more realistic and he would have made triple too lol.
