It amazes me that there are ppl that are so pro-black that they won't accept the reality of the world we live in. No, a person shouldn't go through any extra BS because of their name, but I promise you there's a 90% chance that Greg will be more successful than Dontavious, simply do to the world we live in. fukk all that "black power" shyt until our ppl can actually come together and make changes so that we aren't discriminated against for names and other things. Until then, its every man for themself, in my opinion...fukk black, white, yellow, whatever. And I damn sure got enough sense to name my kids something that will not hold them back in life. It just is what it is

It amazes me that standing up for what is right is viewed as being pro black. It amazes me that pro black is a negative slur on a forum full of black people. It amazes me that people read only what they want to read.

You can stand up for whatever you want. Don't be mad when you fall behind. Maybe I'm just a crooked individual, but ima get it while I'm on this earth. Im not saying be on no "yes massa" type shyt, but when it come to me and my family living comfortably, and my kids not wanting for nothing, best believe ain't no group "standing up"for any cause that's gonna help me and mine. Im stepping on necks to get it...
