That kid's life is over. By the time he gets out of prison his grandparents will be dead, his parents will probably be dead, and his siblings might be dead. And let's not forget the life of the victim may never been the same. Horrible story all around and I'm glad this dude will spend the majority of his life in prison now.

Everyone deserves a trial, but I'm talking about when lawyers try to justify things like this.
