Yeah this is it. Like I said, she reported it immediately which is what people do when they are truly raped and abused. She didn't wait a decade even after experiencing such a traumatic event.
Like I said, your rhetoric is not needed in this thread and I’m sure other people will tell you that as well.

Chill the fukk out before mods put you on time out and rightfully so.

All Imma say is....

Y'all notice that when she woke up, she didn't wait 10 or 20 years to report it? Even though she was in literal fear for her life?

:sas2: A word to the wise is sufficient.
I think this case is different. The power dynamic is still slanted in her favor after the incident and she wouldn't face the same pressures as the women in many of the cold cases you refer to.

Here , what I mean is that her assailant was a random 17 year old highschool boy; not her boss or her millionaire mentor , or the governor of her state, etc. This would drastically change her calculus in reporting the matter after the fact .

To put it in perspective, think of a same-occupation coworker or the janitorial staff saying something greasy and passive aggressive about you in passing vs the CEO of your firm saying it to you in an isolated hallway. You would be very quick to report the first two to HR, but your calculus changes dramatically for the latter due to the power dynamic.

:ehh:
I hear what you're saying, breh. I will make sure to tag you in the next thread that's posted about a man with the power dynamics tilted in his favor assaulting a woman, and her immediately reporting his ass.

He’s going to get the exact same treatment in jail so at least Justice will be served.
