Heat claims more than 175,000 lives across the WHO’s Europe region — spanning from Iceland to Russia — each year. A major studyco-authored by Masselot and published in January, which covered 854 European cities, warned that deaths from heat would rise sharply if significant climate adaptation is not prioritized.



:dahell: It makes sense because I was trying to explain central air conditioning to a bunch of Brit’s and they looked at me like I was explaining radio waves to a caveman. :mjlol:
isnt it mostly older people though? places like italy have serious energy problems

Summers in Italy and Spain can be hell, everybody on IG be leaving that part out though. Better choose them historic "boutique" hotels wisely before you end up sleeping in an air fryer. Did that once :sadcam:

I read that alot of places in Europe don't be having air conditioning. They drawling:gucci:
