Can you explain this part again - a little confusing to me. Thanks
The first part of what you said has a lot of truth to it. If you kinda read between the lines of what I said, there's a great deal of overlap. Big business conservatives are going to leave the GOP bc they dont trust "trump" style voters/politicians to manage the economy, global affairs etc - all stuff that impacts the bottom line.
so for example in 2008 more people that supported Hilary in the primaries went and voted for Mcain over Obama in the general. around 20 something percent, where as only 12 percent of Bernie voters in the primaries switched over to vote for trump in 2016 general and I expect the number to be even lower this year, I could be wrong but thats my opinion , so I dont see this large group of bernie supporters suddenly becoming far right. I think if theres any correlation I see that more with tulsi especially but even yang supporters. there was a faction of bernie not too many from 2016 that supported tulsi in 2020. those are people that like hate "identity politics" in any form, its not that thry critique the cynical use of it by corporate dems, they use it as an excuse for ever talking about racial or other social issues. yes they exist but its not this large faction of bernie supporters. thats just a smear to be used in the future and currently against any progressive policy being pushed. "oh if you want any form of economic progress you must be siding with nazis" meantime the whole idea of third way politics is reaching out to the republicans, biden has talked about kasich in his administration and hilary picked tim kaine as Vp, both pro life on abortion, but if bernie says hey maybe poor rural whites should get healthcare, hes a nazi. its total bullshyt
