The story as reported is inconsistent. It reported that he told his GF to unlock the door before he arrived which would lead me to believe that he would have tried to open the door before he knocked. I could also see how that could have upset him and he knocked on the door in an aggressive manner.

With how pervasive home invasions have become it's not that much if a stretch for me to understand why the shooter reacted like he did.:jbhmm:

Ultimately it's going to come down to whether or not it was reasonable that he went on the balcony and shot him as he was going down the stairs. That will likely be a major issue for the defense.:jbhmm:

major issue?

you can't follow people, VALIDATE their intent to leave, taunt them, then shoot them multiple times :mjlol:

GA has a Stand Your Ground law and the balcony would have been considered the shooters property. This is no where near as clean cut as you are trying to make it...:childplease:

Right. Especially that exchange. Him saying sorry he had the wrong house and the man saying “Nah, (expletive), you’re not at the wrong house,” and killing him.

People are just evil. How do you murder someone for knocking on the wrong door? The title says he tried to enter but reading the article he just knocked and when he realized he was at the wrong house he left. Imagine just knocking on the wrong door and a psycho killing you for it. :snoop:
This case wasnt justified what so ever. Only line of logic i can see is kick doors/home invasions are big in south fulton, and a common thing is “casing “ the home to see if anyone is home and how many if they are home by doing things like knocking on the door and saying you got the wrong house by mistake.

I assumed the killer got robbed before or has seen those type of stories and was excited for someone to try him so he could do what he did and get off on self defense

Uh, no. How many homes have you visited? How many people visit you? :what:

99.99% of the time I'm visiting a friend or associate, I call when I'm either pulling in or around the corner a block away and tell them to, "Open the door." Anytime during undergrad I was going to a females room, I text or called her to open the door. Its understood amongst any human being that actually socializes that "Open the door," doesn't mean the guest is going to

without being met by the occupant of the residence, which is why his girlfriend was fukkin' opening the door and not chilling on the couch watching 'Merlin' after his call. :what: They meet you at the door, usually with it open or opening it seconds after your arrival. Literally the only human on planet Earth that enters my domain without knocking if Im not at the door to open it when their feet hit the Welcome Mat is my wife, and that's because she has her own god damn key. :what:

The lengths some of you will go to play devils advocate-- especially in a criminal case where the victim is black -- is stupefying.

This is an open shut case, you can’t shoot anyone that’s walking away especially if you’re clearly out of danger on a balcony...wtf is wrong with you nikkas?

There’s even a witness saying that the victim wasn’t aggressive nor threatening and clearly said he came there by mistake.

Even with that dumbass castle law in Texas I don’t even think he could beat it with the witness...
