As much as yeezus was cool to listen to, nothing beats I mean nothing beats College Dropout to Late Registration Ye. That span he was dropping some of the best hip hop. Seeing this, I tried to give yeezus some praise but I miss this Ye. He was true to the game. True to the art. Before the millions and Molly.
I always say this. Dude was the hybrid of underground and commercial. It woulda been cool if he kept that balance between the 2. Shyt was real interesting. The way he put collabs together and all.

I remember when I first heard "through the wire." shyt was magical. Lyrics SEO sucked back then and the song was new so I couldn't google it. Spent about week listening to the radio and repeating the hook to my friends, but no one knew it. Pretty sure I blew off doing a science project when the DJ said the name "Kanye West" one night, so I could look up every video, article, and song about or by Ye.
