A lot of technology gets reinvented.

For example, Edison already had an electric car model in the early 1900s. And Nokali Tesla had wireless charging during the same era. Even computer programming existed in the 1850s thanks to Ada Lovelace, but the scientific community completely forgot she existed until 1953.

Bro, at the time of this commercial, few people had phones in their house. 6 years after this , my parents got a phone. It was a party line- thee or four houses sharing a line and you answered based on the type of ring. Take a 9 year old today and check back with them when they are 50 plus. It will be wild.

It gets reinvented in a way that the government can regulate it and make money from it.

They don't release (authorize) anything that they can't regulate.

It's illegal until they can regulate it and get taxes.
