The new Impala looks good. Don't know what you guys are expecting. Almost every car is going to have a similar shape these days due to aerodynamics and safety.

I'd drive the current Mustang, Charger, Corvette, Challenger, and CTS-V over any of their '68 versions. I drove both a '60's Vette and Mustang and they were kinda meh. Good looking cars though.

.

Why?

And im not being fecitious, i'm legit asking. Clearly engineering helps 2012 versions be functionally better than their 44 year old versions, i'd HOPE so, but would you agree the style vs substance liba scale makes the old ones hold up?

Nah, I like my cars to turn, stop and go like they weren't designed in the stone age. Go drive one and get back to me. You ever tried to stop a car with no ABS and drum brakes all around? :russ:

Style only goes so far in my book. Like I told my friend, there's no way in hell I'd drive an old GT500 over the new '13 that has 662hp(!) and I could drive everyday. That alone is :win: status.

this,
the style and swag of the old domestics is unparalleled but if it had to be a car I owned and drove on the regular the only option is the current versions.

maintenance and MPG come to mind when I think about these :wow:

Yes. :myman:

Some people like the old schools for the style, no computers, and them being harder to drive. But me? Nah.

I wouldn't mind having a early 70's Buick Riviera to cruise around in though. Saw one at car show that had me like :ahh:.
