We never really recovered from the damage that Eazy E pushed onto the black youth. Every rapper gotta be BIG lite who comes from NYC, or they gotta be Terminator 2.0 from the block, killing more people than the war on Iraq.
Schooly D and Ice-T were the originators of Gangster Rap. NWA just popularized it.

Hell yeah, they were right. And if you look at some of the nikkas they were targeting as being agents of chaos in Black communities, those are the same nikkas that today will sell out the community cause they are slaves to a dollar. Go from talking about "never having dinner with the president" to kowtowing to a bytch ass orange fascist to read his platinum plan. Ain't heard shyt about that plan nor any semblance of it being implemented since.

Was there drugs? Killings? Crime? Prior to rap music , yes

But for a lot of rappers they went on to glorify the shyt in order for themselves to eat well because the executives and c00n black executives wanted to pushed it and get away from the pro black shyt

U ask them nikkas at the time and it was always the same shyt” i rap about what i see and I what i live around”… you also lived around black men working black women working, black kids going to school and getting educated.. you tell me everywhere in the hood black women was hoes and bytches and black men was selling drugs..

These rappers talking about the hood but they live in the suburbs and they kids are in private schools with white kids.. why your kid not in the hood and in public schools if u representin the hood so much

What made matters worse was the main ones saying that like Dr. Dre were studio gangsters. They were only interested in keeping the "CNN of the ghetto" illusion up so they could continue to line their pockets.

Yeah, and who was famous enough to push the "real nikka" paradigm that crippled millions of black men across multiple generations? :aicmon:

not for nothing Rev Butts was right about everything

It gotta be frustrating to see him practically being dismissed and ridiculed, and irreversible damage is being done at the height of black teen pregnancy, crack sales, crime out the ass and being glorified along with it, while your legacy on Earth was fading before your eyes.

Exactly

Dre doing interviews talking about brutality in the hood and bullshyt

All this Compton this compton that, but dude out in the burbs and given away millions to USC where u didn’t go , but the city of Compton and the people u made millions off of is still shyt

This goes for the rappers in NY, Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans, Miami, and all over

They know worse than the Chinese and British using Africa for their own pockets
