I concurr. The joint before Dead Ps was good but the video was
wack as hell. JZ didn't even look like he was comfortable in front
of the camera, and that whole "playas in the carribean" concept was
just wack. I remember when I saw it I was like "Oh, another bunch
of drug dealin nuhs spending they money on a wack as video,
thinking they big willies and the director should be shot." Oh,
just remembered that shyt was called "In My Lifetime" which makes
total since when seen as part of an overall hip-hopera. Which I
think DPz is. Anyway, I remember being at work and hearing DPs for
the millionth time, but beacuse of the way and place I was
listening to it I noticed something about the music. Be a psuedo
producer I was like subconsciously checking those vibes, cause I'ma
a vibe man, and next thing I know I'm saying to myself`"this is
kinds dope". Then afta peeping "Aint No" I was like a-ight more
playa shyt, phuk this nikka, especially afta hearing that weak shyt
with Biggie, but then the new shyt dropped in full and I was like
this fool gonna go gold...So while I still haven't purchased it, I
probably will eventually, I'm give him the three single test, gotta
hear 3 dope joints before I cop that album...shyt times is hard,
and I been buying hella vinyl from these homeless cats, so ends
a'int up to par...any way, to quote one of y'all brothers out
there, this is just my two cents...peace Tcubed...
