Bruh no black person cared about that shyt. As Mos Def said, "Bin Laden didn't blow up the project...it was you nikka...tell the truth nikka (Bush knocked down the towers)....tell the truth nikka"

2000-04 was the era of baggy clothes, throwbacks, expensive rims on cars, etc. Shoot I don't even remember police violence being as bad.

I didn't mean being scared about 9/11, I meant the overall impact and incessant coverage/ensuing paranoia it created.

You also had child predators due to chat rooms too.

And a lot of the issues we complain about now still existed back then, it was just more low-key since people weren't accessing the internet 24/7 as much as they are now.

Change that to like 1994-2001

No wars, no terrorists, everyone's house was worth a fukk ton, budget was in surplus, buses ran on time, you could still get penny candy and gas under $1.25, people played outside, rap was by far the best genre of music out both creatively and popularity wise.

I feel like out of all the times one could say "were the best" or "good old days", I feel like the late 90's were the only time. But even then, domestic violence (school shootings started, mass shootings and domestic terror were a thing, high crime rates) was a big issue.

But it's funny, because 90's was when people started complaining about pc culture tho

the more things change the more they stay the same

Man I wish I could go back to the era of white tees, fitteds, jean shorts, and air force ones. I was in high school when this track dropped. The culture back then just seemed better. People were more happy. World had less problems.

Everything was better back in the early 2000s.

I liked the college dropout

Edit:damn, that shyt do give me hella fukking nostalgia. The games, the radio, TV :wow: :mjcry:
