East was trash back then too? Damn has the east ever been good and not so top heavy? :scust:
It was not trash teams were much more balanced then, the Heat and Pacers were great teams that would have made the finals in the east last year and 2015. The other teams had one great player Steve Smith, Glen Rice, Shawn Kemp(the year before the weight gain) and a bunch of other really good role players to go a long with it. It was a different league as well. Much slower pace then we have now so numbers are slightly suppressed for role players.

The 98 season was the last time the league was truly balanced in terms of conference level of play.

The Bulls were on their last legs.

The 98 ASG was Kobe's introduction to the world as a great player.

I thought Grant Hill had next bc he was the one player who used to cook Scottie & Mike.

The 98 asg was the bridge between the old guard and the new guard tjat ended when duncan retired

The game in chicago the bulls blew the lakers off the floor and kobe scored half his points in garbage time. The game in la the bulls got the doors blown off and jordan was the only 1 who played well
