1997-2004 Is The Most Underrated Time Period

aka the Y2K era

when people talk about how good the 90's was it's usually just '91-96 they're talking about. but the late 90's to early 2000's is honestly one of the best time periods to be a young person. media got happier (until 9/11 ) there was this techno-optimism in the air that the internet & technology was going to create a digital utopia and fix all our problems, fashion was out there, video games were GOATed and entering a new era of 3D experimentation, sugary sweet & wholesome pop stars ruled the charts, hip hop was in it's happy shiny suit era after being rocked by the deaths of pac & biggie (and all the darkness of the early-mid 90's). it was truly a halcyon era that doesn't get appreciated enough

Finding new restaurants or going to places on a whim and the shyt being trash

Dealing with women outside was terrible
At least now you can see hoes telling on themselves before getting into a relationship with them via Tiktok
Out here getting your heart broke or running into her crazy ass ex when you didn’t have to
That’s one thing this generation should take full advantage of on these hoes
The only thing really good about that era was the music, entertainment, living in the moment and not hearing/reading everybody’s opinion on shyt

'04-'05 is when those last remnants of 90's residue finally began to fade off.'06 is when the new mellinnium took over for me.I felt it in the sphere of human consciousness/frequency/spiritually.They say it normally takes about 5 yrs to transition from one decade to the next.Years ending in 6 or 7 represent fire years.They come and incinerate the previous 10 yrs of decay.'06 ethered the 90's.By '07, it was completely burned away.Personally, 2000-2005 were my favorite years of the 2000's so far.Makes sense because I'm a 90's kid.That period was still laced with some 90's.
