This was objectively better than Madden and game review magazines reflected it also

"Superbowl party with Terrel Davis, we flicked it up for Sports Illustrated"

Damn, i was in my 20s :flabbynsick:

And it was all about that Sunday paper back then. Pull out the glossy circulars w/ the comic section

And PS1 was HORRIBLE with the loading time (and insert disc 2) I stuck with the N64 & went to Dreamcast

That 74.99 would be less than $30 these days.
Not bad
:yeshrug:
Nah, inflation or not, game prices was still expensive back then.

SF2 for SNES was 80+ when i got it. Even Atari had some crazy prices back in the 80s
There was varying prices for different games, the industry didn't regulate themselves until after the 2000s

When 2K was coming at Madden, they released their football game for around $25

The thing i give game makers back then, you received more with a game system (2 controllers, game, tv cables)

I remember me and my brother talking about game prices and I'll never forget him telling me that one time he took his Christmas money to the toy store and was gonna buy Street Fighter II on Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo and he told me that shyt cost 100.00. I was like :rudy: shyt like 30.00 on ps2 and lo and behold he proved it. Them cartridges were expensive as fukk.

Those games used to come in those snap cases or whatever and him or my mom used to fold the receipts and put them in the cases (which is something I do too) anyway he showed me the case one day he was like remember me telling you street fighter was like 100.00? I was like yeah, he handed me the case and I looked in it and this perfectly printed receipt was inside from like 1994 or 95 and yep it was like 100 bucks. I wanna say it was actually closer to 120.00 but I gotta ask him.
