SF2 for SNES was 80+ when i got it. Even Atari had some crazy prices back in the 80s
There was varying prices for different games, the industry didn't regulate themselves until after the 2000s
When 2K was coming at Madden, they released their football game for
around $25
The thing i give game makers back then, you received more with a game system (2 controllers, game, tv cables)
