I remember this very well.
I wanted that Nintendo 64 and there was a world wide shortage on those things.
My mom and dad told me I might have to settle for a PlayStation, so I was like cool. I was a teenager at this time so I wasn’t tripping. I was just thankful for what I was getting.
I get up Christmas morning and we opening gifts and I open my last gift and have no PlayStation or N64.
I was like well I guess I didn’t get neither. A few minutes went by and my mom told me to check the laundry room. Sitting there in the laundry room was a brand new N64 in a very nice gift bag with an extra controller and several games I wanted.
She told me later the only reason her my dad was able to get it is I put my name on a waiting list at GameStop and they just so happened to call them and tell them they were holding one for me.
hear your heartbeat ending but got a happy ending instead.
at your parents. They forgot Jenny Jones and Ricki Lake
You trippinYeah, you tripping, trolling, or are just being slow,
Nah, back in the day when most TVs weren't even HD, N64 was the better party console.
Playstation wasn't on Nintendo's level til PS2 dropped and killed GameCube.
