You can stream movies from your Onedrive account. So either a cellphone, or an xbox (one or 360) you could stream a movie/tv show you downloaded
On xbox one, you can share those movies with friends and it shows up like a channel in the guide-channel

Thats my uses for it, but it can be used for whatever your storage needs be

Can you lock into prices? I don't wanna have all my shyt in the cloud and then all of a sudden the price quintuples and I gotta pay or lose my files.

Of course I have everything on external, but it's the cloud that serves as the backup. Backup means 2 or more, yall know that right?
