That's one side of the story. But I find it hard to believe they're able to execute the bold without some complicity within the Nigerian Government/Military. Collecting taxes and murdering the peoples within northern Nigeria (which is already poorer, less educated by western standards compared to the south), completely disrupts the economy there . Especially considering that the roots of the organization are much older, and haven't been nearly as violent until recently.

In fact, Northerners have historically been more aggressive and confrontational towards other Nigerian tribes. I' not Nigerian so i don't really know how the south was able to become more wealthy than the south,but I do know that the South has only recently gained power over then North (probably because of oil in the south?).

Islam isn't the biggest threat to white supremacy, Asians are. Just look at how many Euros were scared when Japan beat Russia in the Russo Japanese war. Just look at how westerners are scared at the fact that India and China (nations with 1 billion people, respectively) could possibly become developed/industrialized.

No building was going to happen during colonial times. And oil is in the South which should have been reinvested into each state with each state diversifying their economy.
