Only in reality a large portion of blacks are targeted and convicted for things that are not crimes. Or they are charged with things they never did in the first place. Being disorderly, loitering... aka simply talking or walking. Resisting arrest, etc.

OK. In the the jail I worked in, in the building I was assigned to, there was half the inmates were black and half the inmates were white, and there were two Hispanics. The next building was like 60% white and 40% black, no Hispanics. This was a county jail, not a city jail.

What if you deserve to go to jail?

Thats a good question.

In order to determine whether a person 'deseves to go to jail' they are supposed to be judged by a jury of their peers.
But they aren't bringing in 12 peers to judge a black defendant. They are bringing in 9 cacs and 3 random people of color that can be brow-beat and are outvoted as a precluded outcome.

Its all kangaroo court. Its not even impartial enough to determine who actually deserves to be in jail according to its own rules.
