I remember I rated drake album a 3.5 outta 5 on first listen not feeling most of the songs.



After months that shyt is 4.8 outta 5. Almost perfect. Classic.


Lyrics dont sink in after 1 listen ... u dont get the overal feel after u listen to a song once... dont get to analyze the beat .. subject matter .. all the word play. It takes sometime for everything to be digested for you to give it a legit rating.

If you say its a classic on first listen you're a stan ... if you say its 2/5 on first listen you're a nygga who dont want his LP to live up to expectations. If you say its trash .. u probably someone who don't like him in the first place or only listen for singles.

I know exactly how you feel. Which is why I will give it a second listen later but idk if this will go any higher than a 2.5 for me. I fukked with Drake's joint on first listen and still fukk with it now. But on the opposite of that I didnt fukk w/ illmatic on 1st listen but thats a totally different reason altogether tho, I dodnt listen to that till I was in the 9th grade, 6yrs ago and it didnt sound like the shyt I listen to.
