He probably shouldn't have been telling everybody about it in advance. Everybody else waited til the tracklist dropped to be like "hey I'm on the album!".
If the song is dope it would be cool if they let him use it for his project but I doubt it. "Eminem" is a corporate entity.
I get what you saying but nah bruh, it's still about respect.
They asked 2 Chainz for his time. And I knew right away that the song wasn't a guarantee because Chainz even said they brought him in to record a hook and Chainz told them pretty much he'd only do a hook if they let him spit a verse so they pretty much had no choice but to appease him during the studio session.
But from the session to now, there seems to have been a point where they realized Chainz wasn't making the album. So all it takes is a phone call from Em or Paul to him to say "Sorry, it didn't work the way we wanted, let's try something in the future." To just leave him off the tracklist after their impromptu photoshoot and IG photos is a slap in the face.
I'm hoping the song is on a deluxe edition or something. But teflon or not, I think it's messed up Em/Paul apparently didn't reach out to Chainz.
