A Black person owns a restaurant and the health department fails them?

No surprise there.

Asian people open up restaurants daily, they're dirty as fukk inside, and somehow the health department never visits.

Interesting.
That's a lie. A bunch of spots that aren't owned by black people get reviewed and fail all the time. Relax on the coli militant steez.

this is his first foray then this is normal for a start up.
or someone who in 2chains case is startup minded.
hopefully, 2chains has resources to allow him to bring the establishment up to code.

He could easily just hire a consultant firm.
to take over admin work of this and get on take off mode.

If 2Chains is serious about saving his restaurant, he fires whoever the general manager is and the kitchen manager. Pay an industrial cleaning company like ServPro (cost about 2500-5000 depending on size and scope of service) to clean up the restaurant. Get someone with over 20 years in the restaurant biz to teach the cooks, employees proper food storage and handling and do training courses and he should be good to go. Honestly that list is very manageable with the right people and are things even established restaurants have to deal with from time to time.

This reminds me of the company that just slaps celebrity names on restaurants. They are always shyt. Mike Ditka, Jerome Bettis, so many garbage restaurants.

That's true....but Don Shula's Steakhouse is the damn TRUTH. :ohlawd:

I was a butcher at a small meat market that also did hot food including pressure fried chicken in HS. Small operation of about 7 people. It was the best job I ever had. Both my parents taught me to cook but that job also did catering and taught me how to cook for 200+ people, deliver it, and serve it on my own. It is easy to do it right but even easier to do it wrong.

Your post is so on point it hurts. I don't want to go back into the restaurant game but I am continually disappointed by people who think it is no big deal.

I for the life of me don't know why celebrities keep getting duped into the restaurant business (I'm not including popular chain franchises). That shyt aint the easy money maker they think. They almost all invariably fold within a few years.

It's not just celebrities, I know several people that have sunk bread into the restaurant business. It just seems way cooler than it actually is.
There is the aspect of having something associated with your name being mentioned all the time, which is what happens with good eateries. That aspect of it is especially appealing to celebs I guess. It's funny because like some said in here, with so many urban celebrities it's either clothing lines or restaurants. Once you're in your early 30's, having your own restaurant becomes the cooler choice of the two.

it really aint on 2 Chainz, as much as his GM & especially the Kitchen Manager.. doubt the dude even knows how a kitchen properly functions enough to even be making the calls..

tough luck for him, his names attached to the spot.. :francis:

on the flipside- alot that stuff is a easy fix.. couldve been fixed that day, but alot of inspectors aint cool like that..
He probably let his cousin run that shyt

What's the story with that place? Is it in Miami?
Yeah, Miami Lakes. But the chain USED to be around the country. They still have one in Birmingham, AL.

The one I went to was in Philly....off the charts, but it's closed now.

The one in Atlanta closed down some years back, I believe.

Even as a half Dominican breh( they black), this infatuation with mestizo and Spaniard drug dealers is weird as fukk to me considering the history of how they treat blacks there. I mean god damn his third in command was called "Blackie"
