My bad. Those sound fine to me but man...The Climb drums are stale as fukk. I'd be with if someone like...prime era TI was rapping on that shyt. You basically need that southern drawl on there to fill in the spaces, but Cole kinda just blasts through with the rapping and it feels empty.

I like all the verses, some dope lines. Don't want to sound like I'm nit picking but this is like a staple failing of J Cole produced songs.

Yea its a downtempo beat but man. There's no swing to this shyt. I initially said this is just typical weak Cole drum programming but according to twitter JetsonMade did the drums.

dog the sample stinks too. there was no energy in the production. his bars were good tho but the atmosphere of the track is just stale.

if he doesnt want to let other people produce for him he needs to sit down with some og producers and soak up some game.
