Both were/are a$$holes. Pac was an ass but he had some substance behind his madness. Kanye is and ass because he's an ass. Kanye is better lyrically but neither deserve critical acclaim for lyricism.

It's crazy to say there is an agenda by white people to push Pac as the GOAT when you listen to Pac's lyrics....

Pac's whole shyt was about black upliftment. Infact I think there is an agenda to make push a Kanye instead of a Pac type figure. He's much more white media friendly.

Again this is true. Even the publications often had Biggie as the GOAT. Or a Jay Z or an Eminem. The people mostly or always said Pac...

Better yet during the quad studio shootings. I don't think you understand how powerful the media was back then especially during the east coast west coast beef. They televised that shyt daily. They shytted on Pac daily. Tupac did not start to get his redemption from the powers that be until MTV released Tupac Ressurection. Which by the way is the highest selling documentary of all time. People on the street has been saying that Pac was the goat. People who own corporations was saying people like Big, NaS, Ra, eventually Jay and etc where the best. nikka, you want to know what was being pushed down our throats? Master P and other southern nikkas in he late 90's, word to Funk Master Flex.

People like to hate Tupac because people call him the best and he doesn't have some mind-searing flow, boggling lyrics, or anything like that. But Pac had an incredible ability to relate, crazy passion and he also was rather talented as a rapper as far as his expressive abilities. You could feel what he says.

As a rapper Kanye West is average at best, period. He doesn't display any impressive lyrical and technical abilities. He makes some impressive songs through his sampling choices, and having the right people around him. His album discography is arguably better than Pac's as well, but he is not a better rapper.

And i vividly remember 7 year olds screamin Pac as GOAT...nikkaz who prolly never even listened to a Pac album callin him GOAT

Like I said...after their deaths...this opinion of Pac being GOAT was continuously implied and shoved down the throats of young impressionable kids
Now these same kids will still put Pac in their top 5 knowing damn well they've listened to lil wayne, Jay Z, nas, etc...10x more than they've listened to and enjoyed Pac

So far, all we have been stating is based on opinion...

Lets look at the facts...2Pac is Top 5 best selling rap artist...2Pac is respected by other rappers...Most of the top rappers in the game have shown respect to Pac as a rapper, they may not like him as person, but they have given him his dues as rapper...

So the facts are
(1) Pac sold a sh+t load of records...It doesn't matter if he did it after he died...In fact, that only elevates his legendary status, because other so called better dead rappers were out sold by 2Pac...Look at Pac's singles...Barely any "club/dance songs"...He sold albums tackling real issues...He sold albums using producers nobody had ever heard of...

(2) Pac the rapper is respected by most of his peers (the relevant ones)...They have all shown an appreciations for his ability to transmit his message to the listener..A skill that 90% of all rappers lack...

(3) You say that you "vividly remember 7 year olds screamin Pac as GOAT"...And this statement is testament to 2Pac's LEGENDARY status...When you have babes professing that you are GOAT, that means you REALLY had an impact on not only the game, but the entire culture...

Let me give you an example, I was in South Africa when Michael Jordan was wrecking the NBA...In South Africa we didn't get NBA games, the best we got was "Inside NBA" (I think) with Rashad Ahmad...And yet you had little boys screaming that "Michael Jordan is GOAT" even though they NEVER watched a full NBA game..

That's IMPACT...

So, how is it ridiculous for people to state that a rapper who (1) sold a boat load of records (2) was respected by the rappers in the game (3) made an everlasting impact on the culture in only 5 years of activity (4) is constantly used as a point of comparison, is the GOAT...

It's one thing to believe that Jay Z, Kanye or any other rapper is better than 2Pac, but it's another to start saying that if you think 2Pac is better than you are a product of mainstream brainwashing...

That statement is even MORE RIDICULOUS when it comes from Jay Z fans, especially when you consider that Jay Z was IRRELEVANT in 96 when the RapTitans were going at it, and all of sudden, 2001 comes around, the "Takeover" drops, and "Reasonable Doubt" becomes a certified Hip Hop classic...

hahahahahahahaha...How? when the album had ZERO impact on the game...How many little Jay Z popped up the day after "Reasonable Doubt" dropped..?

Let us be honest, Chief Keefs "Don't like" single and "Bang" Mixtape, had BIGGER impacts on the game than "Reasonable Doubt"...This statement does not mean that Chief Keef is better than Jay Z...It is just to show an example of what I am talking about when I say "impact"...Of course, Jay Z's later impact on the game (after Reasonable Doubt) is astronomically more significant...

Talk about mainstream brainwashing...
