2 teens delivering for Instacart were shot at when they pulled into the wrong driveway. Police say they aren't pressing charges.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
this country has a serious fukking a problem

and the fact that half of these cases just have the person shooting at random people because they feel scared get away with it due to stupid ass red state laws is pathetic.

Shoot first, axe questions later culture.

Shiit like this doesn't happen in canada (as often or ever at all).

Right to bear arms... adjust to modern day definition just means = kill/pull trigger at will (if i'm wrong, i'll wait for someody's rebuttal while these stories just continue to surmount.

I don't believe in guns so don't mind me. I midas whale move to canada.

:what: At this point any delivery service in Florida. Have to invest in bulletproof vests for their workers. While delivering packages/food smh. Hell people in their neighborhoods probably gotta rock one too. Just to check their mailbox.
We know when the MJ dispensary delivery drivers are coming in my neighborhood. We don’t shoot at them…

Something is fishy about this story as reported.:jbhmm:

I did a quick search of FL law and I couldn't find any statue that supported being able to use deadly force against someone who was only trespassing.

In fact there Stand Your Ground statue states:

"The only time a person is justified in using DEADLY FORCE to protect property is if he or she reasonably believes such force is needed to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony, such as a robbery.”

I call BS at the couple not being able to file charges against the homeowner.

Don’t matter. Protecting the spirit of the law is more important than narrowing down exactly what constitutes justification
